Everyone has heard of Alexander Graham Bell, the inventor of the telephone.
But have you heard of Elisha Gray? He also invented the telephone. The problem is, he arrived at the U.S. Patent Office on February 14, 1876, just a few hours after Bell had filed his patent! If not for those few hours, Elisha Gray might have become a household name.
