George Washington Protected in Battle

Before George Washington fought against the British he fought for them in the French and Indian War. For President’s Day a while back the Library of Congress posted 8000 letters by George Washington on the Internet. One was a letter to his mother following a battle in the French and Indian War in 1755. He wrote: “I luckily escaped without a wound, tho’ I had four bullets through my Coat, and two Horses shot under me.”

If you have four bullets go through your coat, and two horses shot under you, and come out okay—God has other plans for you.
